Ceramic Coating Services in Glendale, CA

Ceramic Pro is a multi-layerable, clear, liquid nano-ceramic coating. When cured, this technology will transform itself on the surface to a permanent, durable yet flexible glass shield. Ceramic Pro can be described as an additional clear coat, with 3 times the hardness and self cleaning properties.

Ceramic Pro once cured, is measured to have hardness above 9H. Normal clear coat has hardness between 2H and 4H. The increase in the hardness of the coated surface is vast. This makes it the hardest paint coating on the market today. This new glass shield prevents minor scratches to your clearcoat and acts as a sacrificial layer. This preserves the original factory paint.

Glossy, slick and self-cleaning This nano technology allows the Ceramic nanoparticles to fill the smallest pores in the paint which makes the Ceramic Pro glass shield shiny, smooth and extremely slick or hydrophobic. Ceramic Pro dramatically lowers the surface tension preventing environmental contaminants such as: bird droppings, bugs, dirt, tar and graffiti paint from bonding to the surface. Water easily removes dirt from the surface by encapsulating it while rolling off the surface. This is called the self-cleaning effect.
Permanent protection Ceramic Pro 9H is a one-time application if maintained correctly. Once the Ceramic Pro glass shield has cured it can only be removed through abrasion like wet sanding. This puts Ceramic Pro in a category by itself, compared to sealants or waxes that degrade quickly.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is Ceramic Pro safe for my paint or clear coat?

Yes, Ceramic Pro Products are formulated to be safe for all surfaces including your paint. Ceramic Pro will not damage your clearcoat or paint and will not void any manufacturer warranties.

Does Ceramic Pro fade, crack, peel or yellow?

No, Ceramic Pro will not Crack, Peel or Yellow. Our products have undergone SGS testing and real-life testing in some of the worlds harshest environments, and surpassed every one of them.

Is Ceramic Pro an alternative to wax?

Yes, once Ceramic Pro is applied you will never need to wax again. Cleaning your vehicle’s paint is as easy to maintain as your glass/windshield. No need for abrasive washes or any waxes/sealants.

Will Ceramic Pro protect my car from scratches?

Ceramic Pro can still be scratched but it will slow the accumulation of towel maring and swirl marks with proper care.

What is the application process and how long does it take?

The process of Ceramic Pro will take between 1-5 days depending on the condition of your paint, the size of the vehicle and the packages you select. The 1st step is to wash and prep the vehicle. The 2nd step is to correct all the imperfections in the paint such as swirls and scratches. Once the vehicle is properly prepped, a body shop safe prep solvent will be applied to the entire vehicle to get to bare paint. At this stage the coating process will begin, and each panel of the vehicle will have Ceramic Pro applied, leveled, and stacked to achieve the package you have selected.

My car has scratches and other pre-existing damage, can Ceramic Pro be applied over this?

No, the paint must be corrected to the best condition possible to allow for proper bonding and maximum durability.

Can a detailer, dealership or service center that is not certified apply Ceramic Pro to my vehicle?

No, any detailer, dealership or service center that claims to apply Ceramic Pro without becoming a Certified Installer and listed on ceramicpro.com is making a false claim. Please report this shop to Ceramic Pro Corporate: contact@ceramicpro.com or +1 (800) 280–6856).

Will Ceramic Pro prevent water spots?

No, Ceramic Pro will not prevent water spotting, but it WILL allow those pesky waterspots to be easily removed without damaging the surface. Because Ceramic Pro creates a protective layer over the substrate, it does not allow the minerals to corrode or etch the surface that Ceramic Pro is protecting, prolonging the life of your metals, paints, gelcoat, plastics, vinyls etc. Ceramic Pro is a silica based/glass product and the glass on your windshield can still get water spots, but it is much more resistant to water spots than your clearcoat.

Can Ceramic Pro be removed from my vehicle easily?

No, Ceramic Pro cannot be washed away like a wax or sealant giving it long lasting results. You must use abrasion (wetsand/compound/polish) to remove Ceramic Pro.

Does this product require annual servicing?

Yes. To maintain your warranty, you need to attend an annual service. This is to ensure the Ceramic Pro performs properly for the entire length of the warranty. If an annual inspection is missed, the warranty defaults to the lesser package at the time of the missed annual inspection. i.e. An Ultimate ION (Lifetime) warranty becomes an ION (7-year) warranty when an annual service is missed.

I've just had my vehicle coated with Ceramic Pro, how long until I can wash it?

You should wait 10-14 days before the 1st wash to allow the solvents to outgas and the coating to fully cure. If you notice that your car gets water spots, bird droppings, tree sap etc. during these two weeks immediately remove it following our care instructions. Keep in mind, during this curing period, the coating is softer so work on the paint very gently.
